I am a member of the MacDonald MEMS group. After completeing my undergraduate degree at UCSB in mechanical engineering, I decided, in spite of the hardships associated with life in Santa Barbara, to spend a few more years here.
My thesis topic will be on a nanostructured titania thin film, formed when titanium is oxidized in hydrogen peroxide. More info and pictures can be found here.
