Integration of Nanostructured Titania (NST) into Microsystems
III. NST as Elements in Multiplex Sensing Systems

We have fabricated prototype gas sensing devices using arrays of integrated NST as sensing elements - Figure 2 (a and b). The first generation device using undoped NST elements is able to detect ppm levels of oxygen - Figure 2 (c). We are working with the research group of Professor Martin Moskovits to explore the use of NST as a platform for bio-sensing in particular and chemical sensing in general.
