Welcome

The College of Engineering is proud to present our three meeting rooms in the Engineering Sciences Building for your use. These rooms are intended primarily as locations for academic events involving College of Engineering and campus departments and programs. Priority for use of the facilities will be given to COE departments and programs. These rooms are not available for use by nonacademic units and community groups.

NEW RESERVATION POLICIES: We are currently accepting room reservation(s) for ESB. The reservation(s) will remain "pending" until we receive further guidance from the campus as to if meetings can be held. Once we receive word, we will approve your reservation(s).

ESB 1001 Interior

ESB 1001

ESB room 1001 is our large conference room facility. This room seats 100 people in rows of movable chairs facing a raised stage. On the stage is a custom podium that compliments the large dry-erase board and the motorized screen. This room has one wired Internet connection available for presentations. However, you can also access the UCSB wireless Internet if you have a UCSBNetID and password. There is also a ceiling mounted data projector a remote control, a net connection cable, a power strip, an extension cord, a VGA cable to connect a laptop to the projector, and Gaffers tape to secure any trailing cables. There is currently no working sound system in this room. Once you make a reservation, special instructions and more information will be provided to you via a confirmation email when the reservation gets approved.

Please Note: There is currently no working sound system available. You will need to contact media services for your sound needs.

Additional equipment and technical support are NOT provided. If you bring your own technical support and find that additional equipment other than the one already specified is needed for a more complex audio visual setup, it will be up to your technicians to provide it. There is no phone line in this room. ESB 1001 has an attached kitchen and three tables available for presentations.

ESB 2001 Interior

ESB 2001 is our seminar room. It seats 30 people at tables arranged in rows facing the large dry-erase board and motorized screen at the front of the room. ESB 2001 has a projector and one wired Internet connection available for presentations. However, you can also access the UCSB wireless Internet if you have a UCSBNetID and password. This room is equipped with a digital-only audio system. Once you make a reservation, special instructions and more information will be provided to you via a confirmation email when the reservation gets approved.

Additional equipment and technical support are not provided. There is no phone line in this room. This facility has an attached kitchenette available for your use.

ESB 2003 Interior

ESB 2003

ESB 2003, is the Mark & Susan Aas Bertelsen Conference Room. This room has a central conference table which seats 14 people and 12 additional chairs around the perimeter of the room for a total of 26 seats. There is a large dry-erase board, a projector and a pull down screen available for your use. This room has one Internet connection available for presentations. However, you can also access the UCSB wireless Internet if you have a UCSBNetID and password. Once you make a reservation, special instructions and more information will be provided to you via a confirmation email when the reservation gets approved.

Additional equipment and technical support are not provided. There is no phone line in this room. Reservations for this room include access to the attached patio deck.
