I am a Phd Candidate in the Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering at UCSB. I am being advised by Prof. Jerry D. Gibson and am associated with the ViVoNets Lab
Niranjan has been a graduate student in Electrical & Computer Engineering since 2002. He received his M.S. in ECE in 2004, and is currently completing his PhD. His research focus is on investigating methods to improve voice quality over heterogeneous multi-hop networks, and specifically addresses voice packet loss concealment and tandem performance of speech coders in these networks.
