UCSB Engineering

Organized research units at UC Santa Barbara create a nucleus for interdisciplinary work among our faculty, researchers, students, corporations and the public. The efforts are directed at coordinating and catalyzing breakthrough research and promoting interaction between faculty, students and other global leaders in the field.

The College of Engineering also has strong collaborative research ties with other world renowned institutes and laboratories such as the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, the Los Alamos National Laboratory, the Kavli Institute for Theoretical Physics, the Marine Science Institute, and many others.
